Consignment coins

Consignment coins are coins that are owned by our customers or partners that are being sold on our site. There are two important differences between consignment coins and are normal stock. First, a consignment coin will take up to two weeks to send, instead of our normal 1 to 3 day turnaround. The second difference is that unless noted, there is no return policy on consignment coins.

All Certified Coins' Terms, Conditions and Guarantees.

1.) Grading All coins sold by All Certified Coins are certified, graded and authenticated by third party grading services.

2.) Postage, shipping and insurance Please add $5 to all orders up to $49.99 and $7.50 for all orders from $50 to $99.99. $10.00 for all orders from $100.00 to 199.99 and $12.50 for orders $200.00 and up, to help defray costs of postage, package/packing and insurance. Your certified coins will be sent in a bubble wrapped package sent first class, plus insured through the United State Postal Service.

3.) 5 Day return privilege. There is a 5 day return privilege on all coins. All returned coins must be in their original holders, undamaged and both the holder and coin must be in the same condition as shipped.

4.) Grading service guarantees. PCGS guarantees that all coins submitted to it shall be graded by a minimum of three PCGS grading experts in accordance with PCGS grading standards and under the procedures of PCGS.
In the event the purchaser of a PCGS graded coin believes that the coin has been overgraded with respect to such standards and procedures, he may submit such coin to PCGS for regrading under a procedure which insures that graders are unaware of the grade originally assigned. The fee for such regrading shall be $20.
If the grade determined under such grading procedure is lower than that originally assigned to the coin, PCGS shall pay the difference between the highest then-current bid by any PCGS dealer for the coin in question at the newly established grade and the highest such bid for the coin at the grade originally assigned. PCGS will also refund the $20 regrading fee plus any postage and insurance costs incurred by the coin owner in sending the coin to PCGS. NGC's grading guarantee is identical to that of PCGS except on copper coins. You the customer will have to visit all other certification company website to see if they guarantee the coins/holder and the terms of service.

5.) Important Disclosure information. Coins purchased at All Certified Coins are intended for numismatists, to have for years of enjoyment, not investments. There can be no assurance, that even after several years, a market will exist where such coins may be sold for a profit. We would even go one step further and say in most cases you will probably not be able to sell the coin for the price you purchased it for. Although modern coins have sold well for All Certified Coins, most coin dealers claim there is not a market for these coins.

The above statement is only there because as a buyer myself, I feel it is much more important to notify my customers of all possibilities of their purchase. Even if it may discourage potential buyers, I would rather tell the truth, then mislead the investment potential. I have always considered myself a coin collector first and a coin dealer second.

6.) Other terms and conditions.  Buyer is responsible for any and all sales or use taxes resulting from this sale in addition to the purchase price as marked on the invoice. All Certified Coins' sole liability shall be no greater than the purchase price of the coin with respect to which a claim is made after such coin is returned to All Certified Coins. Buyer agrees to pay all costs incurred to enforce any part of this agreement. Buyer also consents to the jurisdiction of any court in the state of Minnesota for any claim or dispute arising out of any transaction with All Certified Coins.
